Who we are

We have been where our clients are going.

Adversa Strategy Group was founded by three men who met at FPC Montgomery. Between us we have been the client, the defendant, and the person walking into intake with no idea what the next morning looks like.

That experience is the firm. When we tell you how designation actually works, what to say at your first team meeting, or which programs are worth pursuing — it is not secondhand research. It is the thing itself.

What we do

Six services, one continuous relationship.

Clients enter at any point. Most wish they had entered earlier.

01

Sentence Mitigation

Character narrative, personal history investigation, and the record that gives a judge a substantive basis to sentence below the guidelines.

02

PSR Review & Analysis

Line-by-line review of the presentence report, correcting errors that would otherwise follow a client into BOP classification.

03

Designation Advocacy

Security-point analysis and placement strategy. Where you serve shapes everything about how you serve it.

04

Institutional Preparation

Matched with a consultant who served at your designated facility. Not general advice — your unit, your yard, your staff.

05

In-Custody Strategy

First Step Act credits, RDAP entry, transfers, and the daily realities of institutional life. Positioning for earliest release.

06

Reentry & Rebuilding

Halfway house, supervised release, employment, and reputation. Our engagement ends when you are standing on your own.

Two ways in

Whether you're defending the case, or living it.

For Attorneys

A privileged consultant on your team

Retained by counsel, our work sits inside the attorney-client privilege — strengthening mitigation and taking the operational questions off your desk.

  • Mitigation strategy and PSR analysis
  • Sentencing memorandum support
  • Designation and RDAP advocacy
  • Client and family preparation

For Defendants & Families

Someone who has actually been there

Matched with a consultant who served at your facility. What actually happens on day one, in your unit, at your institution.

  • What to expect, day one onward
  • Getting affairs in order before surrender
  • Support for the family left behind
  • Earning time off, getting home sooner

Life Continuity Services

A sentence threatens more than your time.

The mortgage. Custody. Health coverage. The business. The accounts nobody can reach because two-factor authentication is tied to a phone that got disconnected.

None of that is a legal problem, and all of it is preventable — but only if someone owns it before you surrender. Our coordinators run a structured eight-module checklist so your family isn't improvising during the worst month of their lives.

Why earlier matters

Most people call us after sentencing.

The clients who call at the target-letter stage get materially different outcomes than the ones who call the week before surrender.

Mitigation is built, not argued. By sentencing day the record is largely fixed — the work that changes it happens months earlier, often before charges are filed at all.

A first conversation costs nothing.

If we're not the right fit for your situation, we'll tell you that directly.
